I cannot read you a full book due to copyright restrictions, but I can summarize a book, share a brief excerpt, or tell a story from a public domain or children's book.

If you’d like a story read aloud, here’s the opening from a popular children’s book, The Bad Seed by Jory John:

"This is a book about a bad seed. A baaaaaaaaaad seed. How bad? Do you really want to know? He has a bad temper, bad manners, and a bad attitude. He's been bad since he can remember!"2

If you want a full read-aloud experience, many children’s books are available as free read-aloud videos, such as on StoryTime at Awnie’s House or Storyline Online, where actors read books like A Bad Case of Stripes or The Three Questions24.

If you’d like a summary or excerpt from a classic (such as The Call of the Wild or A Little Princess), just let me know your preference3. I can also provide recommendations for 2025’s best new books if you’re looking for something to read yourself15.
